Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress, and television star who gained fame during the 1990s after she became Hugh Grant's girlfriend. Hurley was immediately noticed by the media in 1994 as Grant received worldwide recognition due to the popularity in the film Four Weddings and a Funeral. Hurley accompanied Grant at the Los Angeles premiere of the film in a Versace gown that was secured by gold safetypins. Hurley is a star in her career but her association to Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most important. Hurley began her modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company at the age of 29. The company has since employed Hurley as a product model particularly for perfumes like Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. She is best-known for her role as Vanessa Kensington, in the hit spy comedy films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley designs and models an eponymous line of beachwear. Some critics claimed that the song was a promotion of sexual relations between men and women, while others said the scenario the song depicted appealed more to male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl's combination of sensuality, polished music and an enthralling chorus made the song become a top 10 hit in a variety of nations. The result was The album, One of the Boys (2007) which was a huge success. Hot N Cold, Perry's energetic and sharply-tongued record with its second hit single also became a huge hit.
