Andrea Anders
Anders, who was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She completed her studies at DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993; and received an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. The year 2001 was the time she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Anders and her Joey co star Matt LeBlanc and their relationship lasted from 2006-2015. They first came together on the sets of the now cancelled sitcom. Sean Anders directed her in the films "Sex Drive" and "Never Been Thawed". In 2001, Anders started her professional career in theatre. She understudied Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Also, she was as a character in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater, and Two New York Stage & Film shows: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders first appeared in Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on May 7, 2007. The role she played was Jeannie who was an accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st of 2007. Anders' most famous roles include Nicole Allen, a former wife of a footballer on The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). Anders appeared in each episode of the two series and neither show was re-run. Anders has also made guest appearances in One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. The actress was in five episodes of the HBO the drama Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in the 2004 movie The Stepford Wives, playing Heather as Heather, and the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders was also seen on Numb3rs that aired in 2008. Anders was a part of two pilots for television that failed. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders His most recent performance was in Better Off Ted.
